Job Duties Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 30 tons to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one warehouse to another. Loads and unloads vehicles. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment, and assists during the operation of well logging equipment at job site. Performs other duties and activities as directed. Qualifications Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have Class A CDL (commercial drivers license) with Hazmat endorsement. Must have a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges Minimum of 6 months of heavy truck driving experience highly preferred. Winter and mountain driving experience highly preferred. Pneumatic trailer operation experience desired. Able to communicate effectively with others. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills required. Able to pass background, physical and drug screen. Able to lift up to 60lbs. Able to pass background, physical and drug screen. Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions. Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions. Maintains effective working relationship with other employees.
