Hadrian
- Manufacturing the Future
Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.
We’re accelerating our mission with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot facility creating 350 new jobs. We are expanding rapidly to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to expand into naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.
Hadrian is backed by leading investors including T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.
The Role
The Operational Finance team at Hadrian is a driving force behind both the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of our advanced manufacturing mission. We partner closely with teams across Production Operations, Special Projects, and Automation to construct official company plans and develop the models, processes, and financial frameworks that guide critical decisions and execution.
This Finance Manager will operate at the intersection of finance, new capability development, and program execution, owning financial oversight across Hadrian’s most critical manufacturing and special projects. The role goes beyond traditional FP&A by embedding directly with program, engineering, and operational leaders to guide decision-making across large-scale, Cap Ex-intensive initiatives.
You will partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and program leadership to ensure investments are scoped, executed, and optimized with full financial visibility—from planning through execution. This role plays a central part in shaping how Hadrian deploys capital and scales its factory footprint.
What You’ll Do
-
Own financial oversight and FP&A across multiple concurrent programs, including factory builds, new capability investments, and program-level spend
-
Develop and maintain forecasts for new initiatives and programs, including Estimate at Completion (EAC), scenario modeling, and spend projections
-
Build and manage consolidated budgets aligned to accounting frameworks
-
Ensure alignment between financial plans, operational milestones, and program timelines
-
Manage and develop a team of 1-3 finance analysts
-
Act as the financial counterpart to engineering and program leadership, bringing visibility, structure and financial accountability to complex initiatives
-
Provide real-time insight into program performance, including risks, opportunities, and trade-offs across cost, schedule, and scope
-
Own financial evaluation of individual investments, applying transaction-level rigor (ROI analysis, cash impact, etc.)
-
Analyze key operational drivers such as labor productivity, utilization, and cost performance
-
Identify and drive improvements in processes, reporting, automation, and data infrastructure
What We’re Looking For
-
5–8 years of experience in FP&A, program management, investment banking, or consulting, with a strong focus on asset-heavy industries (aerospace & defense, automotive, oil & gas, data centers, or advanced manufacturing)
-
2-4+ years experience leading a high performing team
-
Strong financial modeling skills including cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis
-
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments
-
Strong communication skills with ability to partner cross-functionally and think strategically about spend and operational constraints
What Will Set You Apart
-
Background in project management, transaction advisory, restructuring, or M&A
-
Experience in capital-intensive industries such as manufacturing or aerospace
-
Exposure to program management or large-scale project delivery
-
Experience in high-growth or PE/VC-backed environments
-
Net Suite or ERP experience
