Join H&M as a Fashion Designer in our Womenswear Denim team.

As a Denim Designer for H&M, you will build impactful, commercially strong collections with a focus on Womenswear Denim — from core essentials to directional fashion pieces. You will drive the development of fits, washes, and finishes, creating a balanced assortment that meets both trend and volume needs.

We’re looking for a trend-driven designer with a sharp fashion eye, strong understanding of denim construction and treatments, a clear creative voice, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, close-to-season environment.

Collaborative, proactive, and commercially minded — you balance elevated design with cost awareness and inspire others to deliver global success.

Qualifications

• BA/MA or equivalent experience in Fashion/Textile Design
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience as a Fashion Designer within Denim product categories
• Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, finishes, and garment construction
• Background from an aspirational global brand or retailer
• International experience is meriting
• A creative mindset with a sharp eye for both current and future denim trends
• Strong customer focus and commercial mindset for H&M’s global womenswear customer
• Experience working closely with suppliers, laundries, and factories in Asia and Europe
• Strong skills in and used to working in Adobe Creative Suite programs
• 3D CLO is meriting
• Demonstrated communication skills and a true collaborative team player
• Leadership and coaching mindset
• Independent, driven & proactive with a “one step ahead” mindset
• Organized & structured, able to set priorities and follow timelines

• Fluent in English (Swedish not necessary)

Additional Information

This position is based in Stockholm, to start asap. You will report to the Assortment Manager and work with a like-minded team of passionate Designers, Product Developers, and Planners.
