About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Drive financial governance across the organization, including analysis of subsea and terrestrial network assets.

  • Deliver forecasts of capital and operating expenses on quarterly intervals, in partnership with business leads, budget owners, and the finance organisation.

  • Participate in executive presentations monthly and quarterly reflecting actual spend vs forecasts and plans.

  • Analyze and organize large data sets and reports into clear and succinct summaries that drive critical business decisions.

  • Identify high-impact opportunities and address system/workflow gaps to foster continuous improvement and optimization.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program management with experience in data modeling, investment governance, and analysis.

  • Experience in technical infrastructure concepts, system design, and the software/hardware development life-cycle.

  • Experience with various methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Lean.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., spreadsheet software, SQL, Salesforce, Tableau, and Power BI).

  • Exceptional organizational skills, including proficient use of project artifacts (e.g., RAID logs, RACI matrices) and productivity tools.

  • Ability to grow independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex technical and business information to diverse audiences.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
