Write clear, modular, and self-sustaining code for custom front-end and back-end services.

Design, build, and deploy internal business applications to support technology lifecycle and service delivery management.

Translate business requirements and user needs into high-level technical specifications for new solutions.

Evaluate, recommend, and integrate third-party products and vendor-supplied applications into internal systems.

Conduct and oversee comprehensive testing of new and customized application modules to ensure they meet specifications. Identify and implement processes to ensure system controls and compliance can be effectively enforced and monitored.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, and Computer Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Application Engineer-related occupation.

Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, and Computer Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Application Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:

Writing readable, well-structured code in at least one programming language utilizing engineering best practices, including code review, automated testing, and design patterns or Software development utilizing engineering best practices such as code reviews and automated testing.

Root cause analysis to diagnose and debug issues in program code and software systems or Troubleshooting and debugging complex software systems through root cause analysis.

Defining software system architecture, including components, modules, interfaces, and data models to satisfy specified requirements or Software system design defining architecture, components, and data models.

Application Programming Interface (API) development for third-party software access or API design and development.

Development of enterprise architecture for automation of core business processes or Enterprise systems design for business process automation.
