Staff Software Engineer, Payments Platform

Lead teams building Platform UIs and infrastructure needed for purchase and sign-up flows used across numerous Google products.

Lead and manage engineers building Payments UIs and forms of payments solutions for Google products.

Be passionate about developing high quality, scalable systems that meet critical business needs. Provide technical leadership to the team in partnership with Form Of Payments (FOPs) and UI technical leads.

Collaborate with Product Managers, UX and other broader technical leads to define the goal, strategy and roadmap for the core Payments initiatives to produce business impacting deliverables.

Lead engineering teams in full vertical stack design, implementation and launch/experimentation/optimization.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in software development.

5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
-
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
-
Experience with technical infrastructure and Java.
