Lead all US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) areas, including but not limited to business growth recognition, software development cost capitalization including for AI, lease accounting, and contingencies and commitments.

Architect influential policies and technical memos, actively shaping the future of accounting standards by drafting comment letters to standard setters.

Lead the implementation of new U.S. GAAP accounting standards, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and compliance.

Implement and maintain accounting policies and technical memos that drive consistency and provide influential guidance across Google and Alphabet’s product areas.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).

14 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 12 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.

Experience building, developing, or leading a team.

Experience with revenue recognition and ASC 606 guidelines.
