Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, Software Development

Drive manufacturing test development for new and existing product designs. Architect and write test software to drive end-to-end test coverage based on product and quality requirements.

Develop automated test scripts for functional and system tests using Python.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes. Drive issues to closure with preventive measures.

Design, build, and deploy test platforms for Google's global manufacturing partners and develop automated test scripts for functional and system tests using Python.

Define the manufacturing test strategy for new products and work with our partners to jointly develop the required test solutions. Travel internationally up to 20% of the time, as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience developing manufacturing test solutions for PCBAs (L6) and computer systems (L10).

8 years of experience as a manufacturing test, quality, reliability, or product engineer.

Experience developing or integrating manufacturing test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing and instrumentation and using Python for automation.
