The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000 - $181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for complex networking features, including identifying and gathering project requirements.
- Automate testing procedures by developing scripts to run regression tests on existing hardware and software platforms. Identify, document, and report bugs, escalating complex issues to team leads and managers for timely resolution.
- Manage the end-to-end testing and release process for assigned networking product features, including project timelines and plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to write and review test strategies, plans, and results to ensure product quality.
- Contribute to the hardening of device hardware and software and publish clear test results and process documentation.
Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Test Engineer -related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:

Test automation using Python or C++.

Designing network test plans and creating test cases.

Testing network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, IGP, and L2/L3 control plane protocols (LACP, STP, RSTP, VRRP, UDLD, 802.1x).

Designing hardware testbeds or network test environments for protocol testing.

Analysis of network systems and data packet transport (TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing and forwarding methodologies) or analysis of network architecture and traffic flows.
