About the job
As an AI Sales Specialist, you will help us grow our AI business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers, in the start up sector. You will work with customers to deliver true business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases and sales cycles will include a combination of productivity use cases, as well as working with product teams to help customers build new products leveraging our AI solutions. You will lead day-to-day relationships with cross-functional team members and external customers, leading with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole to drive overall value for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

Monitor, forecast, and report business against the objectives and key results for the territory.

Establish and maintain executive relationships with customers as the AI Subject Matter Expert, influence long-term direction for new and existing customers as well as the Google Cloud Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and Customer Engineers (CEs).

Guide customers in identifying AI use cases suitable for Google Cloud AI products and solutions while articulating key solution differentiators and measurable business impact.

Design and execute account plans, including a broader enterprise plan across key verticals and collaborate with Google Account and Technical teams to develop and drive pipelines, and provide expertise, while executing Go-To-Market (GTM) business plays and related efforts with the Google Cloud teams and GCP partners.

Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
-
7 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software, cloud space, or AI space.

Experience in business development, sales, or account management driving customer adoption of solutions and delivering business growth in AI or related technology field.

Experience partnering with technical staff to build business cases and implementation plans.
Preferred qualifications
-
Experience in promoting the AI technology stack.

Experience working with and managing partners in implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.

Experience working with product teams, with an understanding of how to embed technology into the product set.

Knowledge of Google Cloud and Google Cloud AI offerings.

Ability to connect AI/ML with business value and engage executive stakeholders as an advisor and thought leader.

Ability to drive business growth across a broad set of industry-specific AI/ML use cases.
