AI Sales Specialist Manager, Google Cloud

Once educational institutions, government agencies, and other businesses sign on to use Google Cloud products, you come in to facilitate making their work more productive, mobile, and collaborative. You listen and deliver what is most helpful for the customer. You assist fellow sales Googlers by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers. You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.
In this role, you will operate effectively in a matrixed environment, align cross-functional stakeholders, and drive disciplined execution against clear outcomes. With your technical expertise, you will close complex AI-driven agreements. You will grow in the velocity and ambiguity of AI sales, moving with urgency, adapting quickly to market shifts, and maintaining high standards while scaling impact.

Responsibilities

Develop, advance, and close business pipelines, AI bookings, and growth.

Own executive relationships with key customers. Manage teams that are focused on C-level engagements coupled with scale and growth opportunities.

Support your team to build and maintain executive relationships with customers as the AI subject matter expert, and influence long-term strategic direction for new and existing customers, as well as the Google Cloud Field Sales Representative (FSR) and Customer Engineer (CE) teams.

Support your team to assist customers in identifying AI use cases suitable for Google Cloud AI products and solutions. Articulate key solution differentiators and the measurable business impact.

Work with Google Account and Technical teams to develop and drive pipelines, and provide expertise. Execute go-to-market business strategy and related efforts with the Google Cloud teams and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) partners.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

12 years of experience selling IT solutions to companies.

Experience in people management within a quota-carrying team.

Experience in working with engineers and customer technical leads to build business cases and accompanying plans for implementation.
Preferred qualifications
-
Experience in selling the AI technology stack.

Experience in leadership and growing sales organizations.
-
Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.

Experience working with product teams with an understanding of how to embed our technology into their product set.

Familiarity with Google Cloud and Google Cloud AI offerings.

Ability to effectively engage and influence executive stakeholders as a business advisor and thought leader in AI.
