As an Independent Agency Data Transformation Lead (DTL), you will serve as the chief strategist and lead technical advisor for the most sophisticated Agency Partners. You are the architect of their AI Transformation Agenda, ensuring they remain indispensable in a rapidly shifting landscape.
Joining one of the most innovative pods within Agency, Platforms and Client Solutions, you will drive the growth of Google’s ads business by pioneering transformative data signals and AI-first strategies. Your mission is to elevate the data maturity of your agency portfolio, enabling them to build the proprietary tech stacks of the future. By unlocking complex client objectives and scaling AI-powered products, you will define what it means to be a high-performance agency in the AI era.
Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

Partner with Agency leaders to build a visionary, long-term roadmap for advancing their Google ads data and measurement infrastructure.

Lead the business cycle for prioritized data and AI-powered Ads opportunities across all buying doors (Google Ads and GMP products) to drive product adoption and business growth.

Pitch and sell the value proposition of data and measurement infrastructure, securing Agency/client commitment on the requirements to scale.

Serve as the internal bridge between Google Ads and Google Cloud teams to build future-forward data and tech solutions with Agencies.

Own the Agency Education and scale foundational and infrastructure work, including driving the adoption of foundational infrastructure (e.g., GA4 SoT, Enhanced Conversions (EC), and GMP bidding signals. ) where the agency is involved.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications

Experience with project management and client-facing, delivering
high-profile projects and influencing executive stakeholders while
collaborating with cross-functional teams. -
Experience architecting and implementing AI-driven data and marketing technology roadmaps, and in cloud-based solutions for the media, advertising, and technology sectors.

Ability to create a strategic goal for clients, aligning their business
goals with AI-powered technical solutions, and a passion for bringing AI to how customers grow their business. -
Ability to build and maintain relationships with executive-level
stakeholders. -
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
