About the job
Our mission in Google Developer Marketing is to empower mobile and web developers to build the highest-quality and most trusted digital experiences for everyone, and help them grow successful and sustainable businesses. We work across Google Play, Android, Chrome, and AI.
In this role, you will help mobile and web developers to build quality apps/games/websites by designing and executing scalable programs, creative marketing campaigns, content on a variety of channels, and events. You have a passion for the mobile and web ecosystems and understanding how professional developers and AI builders use our products and tools to help them create high quality digital experiences. You are a self-initiator who immerses yourself in the local developer community to understand their needs and issues, and envisions programs and initiatives that will maximize reach, efficacy, and impact at scale. You possess a high degree of comfort and flexibility when working both independently and cross-functionally (with other stakeholders in the dev marketing team, developer relations, developer ecosystems, product, local marketing teams, engineering, and other stakeholders).
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

-
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on global, regional or local programs and initiatives.
-
Impact tracking, reporting and best practice sharing.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
-
4 years of experience in product marketing or similar experience within consumer tech with hardware products.
-
Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

- Experience working with professional apps/games/web developers or AI builders.
- Experience in delivering high production quality, and high profile B2B events.

- Knowledge of the developer ecosystem.
- Ability to analyze products/customers/market dynamics and create thought leadership content in multiple formats.
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to details, project and budget management skills.
