About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Chrome Desktop’s mission is to build the best browser on desktop platforms to help users fulfill their needs on the web by leveraging Chrome's and Google's technologies.

As the Technical Program Manager, you will be the strategic partner within the Chrome Desktop organization which is focused on achieving some of Chrome's multi-year business goals. You will provide program management partnership to the Chrome development teams. You will also lead, organize, and manage projects and programs in collaboration with engineering, product, and user experience leads that drive business outcomes while proactively developing systems to drive future optimizations.

Chrome is dedicated to building a better, more open web. We’re focused on making a better browser (on both desktop and mobile) to help users take advantage of all the web has to offer in a safe and secure way.

Chrome is available across all major platforms — iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS. We also built Chrome as an open source project so the entire web ecosystem could benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security.
