About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you’ll lead cross-functional challenges, navigating the ambiguity and changes inherent in AI work and new agentic experiences and the need to balance competing priorities across teams. By driving operational excellence and technical breakthroughs, you will sit at the intersection of AI innovation and product delivery, fundamentally changing how users interact with their devices through proactive automation. You will guide collaborative efforts while managing intricate dependencies, technical risks, and resource constraints.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
