About the job
As a Data Center Services Manager (DCS), you will be involved in every aspect of the design development and localization, procurement, schedule and cost management, delivery, commissioning, handover and close-out of our data center projects, including facility upgrades within operational data center. You will partner with our local/regional facility managers, plant engineers, our design, project controls, delivery, and commissioning teams, to develop solutions at pace. You will manage schedules, budgets and inter-dependencies, all while maintaining industry leading Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality standards.

Responsibilities
-
Drive the development of localized designs leveraged from programmatic design, supporting procurement, construction, commissioning, closeout to the operations team while meeting safety, cost, schedule and quality goals and established customer requirements.

Establish and maintain delivery models and global relationships with multiple vendors, measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

Develop growth plans and lead talent recruitment initiatives, delivering onboarding programs to ensure the success of newly-added team members.

Lead the identification, selection and onboarding of new regional contractors and vendors to increase the current bench.

Manage a campus-wide data center construction and delivery organization with the DCS Manager as the single point of accountability and oversight new construction projects, or capital improvement projects in existing facilities, utilizing internal and extended workforce resources.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.

3 years of experience developing and managing managers.
-
Experience with project and vendor management.
Preferred qualifications
-
15 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
-
Experience in managing construction projects within an international working environment or with commercial agreement management and procurement.
-
Experience in managing vendor relationships, with the knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry.
-
Experience in working within the mission critical sector.
-
Experience with data center equipment/environments, including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, and fire safety systems.
