About the job
As the Engineering Director for the Product Experimentation and Evaluations team, you will lead the transformation of Google's product testing and market impact assessment ecosystem for the AI era. You will develop and implement a strategy that shifts from fragmented, human-led analytics and experimentation platforms toward an integrated, agent-centric ecosystem optimized to rapidly provide trusted market insights. This will involve leveraging AI and agents to streamline experiment configuration, eliminate human toil, and guarantee the integrity of evaluation analysis.
Agentic development dramatically reduces the cost of feature implementation, resulting in market leadership being determined by the speed at which we are able to extract reliable insights from concurrent experiments. This role provides the opportunity to radically transform Google’s ability to ship the most impactful products.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
