Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policies. Responsibilities

Process removal requests efficiently and accurately, including trademark issues, privacy issues, defamation issues, court orders, law enforcement requests and requests from government agencies.

Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding YouTube's legal removals processes.

Work within a team to identify and improve processes, operational quality and scalability.

Assist in developing internal and external educational materials, and in designing new workflows to support the strategic directions of the business.

Review graphic, controversial and sometimes offensive video content. Be available for occasional remunerated on-call coverage during the weekend.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience in content moderation, law, policy, operations, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications
-
Experience working with internet technologies and related policy and regulatory environments, with effective project management skills.

Experience in content moderation and support operations.
-
Experience with SQL and spreadsheets.
-
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
