As a Sales Manager, you will lead and coach a high-performing sales team that uses strong sales skills to understand our advertisers needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. In this role, you will lead relationships and sales engagement with high potential small businesses from all verticals and business models in the market. Be it a startup or a more mature business, wherever they stand in their journey, your team will set them up for long-term sustained success by bringing the best of digital ad solutions from Google. You will enable your team to always reach committed business and productivity goals. Your knowledge of the business landscape and online media, combined with your sales and investigative abilities, will shape how new and existing clients will grow. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. You will also help the teams to partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service.

Responsibilities

Recruit, retain, motivate and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team.

Deliver against commited revenue and product targets, grow engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of small businesses in an assigned market.

Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop strategic plans for customers while tracking activity and provide detailed data analysis weekly, managing consistent customer relationship management (CRM) tracking.

Coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.

Ensure team readiness to deliver complex advertising solutions and create a culture of sales innovation and advertiser success on the team.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
-
11 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.

Experience in a people management role leading sales teams.
Preferred qualifications
-
8 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.

Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics or e-commerce experience, with an understanding of e-commerce dynamics.

Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including executive level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, engaged offerings, including track record in commercial teams.

Ability to self-initiate and thrive in a fluid environment, and effective problem-solving and investigative skills.

Ability to communicate in English and Dutch fluently to engage with clients in the region.
