The Business Operations and Strategy team at Google plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational and organizational improvements across the company. Also known as "Biz Ops", the group operates like an internal consulting group working on a range of critical projects and issues. Biz Ops creates strategies for promoting growth of our products like YouTube, Chrome and Mobile. They handle issues around partner development, strategy work in emerging markets such as Africa and India, as well as pricing strategies across our B2B and consumer products. The Biz Ops team is at the forefront of Google's fast-moving strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and enabling innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Educate the ecosystem and work with Sales and Agency teams to prioritize short, mid, and long-term actions for commerce products and solutions (focused on commerce media and shopping).

  • Develop target client lists, narratives and execute selling of product priorities in partnership with Sales and Agency.

  • Co-develop and co-own the product strategy for Commerce Media and Shopping solutions.

  • Help Sales and Agency influence customers to increase the adoption of performance solutions to maximize business outcomes.

  • Execute go-to-market plan to drive commerce media and shopping solutions successfully in the region.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.

  • Experience working with digital organizations.

  • Experience identifying and recommending ways to improve product and customer strategy.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience developing customer relationships to support product adoption.

  • Experience identifying key internal stakeholders to build network and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ability to translate client business needs into product adoption opportunities.

  • Ability to develop relationships with customers acting as a product subject matter expert for customers and agencies.
