Design, build, maintain and scale content safety platforms to safeguard business-critical products for Google.

Deliver quality and future-proof content safety self-service solutions that combine content safety protection with production-grade infrastructure.

Enable safety teams to protect users from exposures to offensive, sensitive or harmful content, and unlock new opportunities for the business.

Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices among available technologies (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).

Identify opportunities to mitigate internal signal developer issues, working with the community to prioritize and launch improvements.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.

3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

3 years of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential selection making), Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure, or specialization in a related ML field.

3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging).
