The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Make the impact to our biggest Cloud customers with ambiguous challenges to solve at scale.

• Design and develop features to support future scale, increase resiliency and isolation.

• Identify future bottlenecks through monitoring, experimenting and other signals and propose solutions.

• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and other partner teams to drive holistic solutions, often spanning multiple quarters and requiring cross team influence and excellent communication skills.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.

• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

• Experience in the following areas: distributed systems, back-end, teamwork.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

• Experience programming in C++.

• Experience with solving problems at scale.

• Experience with database core concepts, consistency, and isolation.
