• Develop modem software and verify modem feature functionalities and performance for NTN (IoT-NTN and NR-NTN) and DTC (LTE and NR DTC).

• Solve system-level mobility, latency, and Doppler issues in satellite networks to enhance NTN user experience including voice, data, and power efficiency.

• Identify and implement modem software and hardware optimizations to minimize power drain, including algorithm tuning, power state management, and RF front-end interaction.

• Identify performance scenarios and recreate the scenario in the lab environment for research and development for optimized solutions. Work with test teams to define validation strategies and root-cause issues found during lab testing with satellite emulators and field trials.

• Debug, analyze, and fix modem issues from factory, certification, field, and end users. Work with vendors and solution providers on modem protocol design.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 7 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++).

• Experience in cellular modem software development or protocol stack engineering (LTE, NR, or IoT).
