Gemini App Horizontal New Features is responsible for identifying and developing new features that cut across multiple user segments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Drive model enhancements to Gemini App users, with a constrained timeline.

• Resolve technical challenges and deliver high-quality products, adhering to legal, privacy, latency, and TPU cost constraints.

• Develop the new feature for Gemini App by integrating its innovative AI capabilities.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.

• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

• 3 years of experience in native mobile development (Android or iOS), with experience in building and shipping user-facing applications.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

• Experience with user-facing product development, encompassing clients (Android/iOS) and backend services.

• Excellent system design skills.
