Google's Customer Onboarding team is a rapidly growing arm of the Google Customer Solutions organisation. Our mission is to enable the first taste of long term success. We do that by working with customers on defining their digital advertising strategy and marketing objectives. Our primary customers include start-ups, Financial Technologies (Fin Techs) and retail customers.

As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you will educate new customers, help solve problems, drive strategy and ensure the smooth adoption of our products. Throughout our customer life cycles, we prioritize delivering a fantastic customer experience, and onboarding.

Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with company owners and make a real difference in their businesses by helping them grow. Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop trusted relationships with clients and help them achieve business goals.

  • Contribute to the team performance consistently delivering against quarterly sales goals.

  • Create and craft pitches to customers tailored to clients’ performance goals, and work towards mutual business objectives.

  • Find and implement creative ways to improve our client relationships, share performance-enhanced suggestions and promote Google products.

  • Produce interpretable insights from data analysis, deliver data-driven strategic and tactical recommendations to customers.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.

  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional international teams and managing stakeholders (internal and external facing).

  • Experience in managing and customizing experience for a customer base.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.

  • Ability to lead, motivate and work well with others.

  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to think strategically to develop business recommendations, action plans, as well as ideas on improving internal processes.
