Manage the Cloud SDK for Java and C++ and produce and provide updates to client libraries in Java and C++ for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) APIs. API teams are constantly releasing new features and we provide updated SDKs with these features for our customers.

Support new API features in the Java and C++ Veneers owned by our team (e.g., Big Query).

Support new GCP platform features (e.g., TPC, regional endpoints for data residency (DRZ), mTLS for authentication, interface-based versioning).

Evolve the client libraries to meet expectations for the Java and C++ language ecosystems and support the Spring Cloud GCP Java integrations.

Evolve the product, especially considering how the SDKs will be used with AI tools, resulting in increased user productivity and a better developer experience.

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in software development.

4 years of experience working on developer tools.

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.

2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
