• Establish and follow software development best practices and an engineering culture.

• Participate in the definition, design and development of the next generation of Alphabet's risk and compliance products.

Risk Data Platform (RDP) establishes a standardized framework for leveraging risk and control data to assess, report, and monitor security and compliance risks across Alphabet and its areas.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will build technical solutions to protect users trust, make the internet safer, and drive social impact. You will process all of Alphabet's data and leverage Google's existing assets as the foundation for building impactful solutions. You will build a series of products to support that mission, like the Risk Data Platform, which provides continuous risk and control monitoring, risk data warehousing, and risk modeling and reporting capabilities for Alphabet. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer.
