  • Lead, grow, and upskill the AI application practice within the Google Cloud Customer Solutions Architects Engineering organization in the Greater China Region.

  • Drive adoption and consumption growth of Cloud AI and Applied AI products among our customers in the Greater China Region, with a focus on export clients.

  • Partner with the Field Sales and Customer Solutions Engineering leadership to achieve our ambitious business objectives.

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of sales specialists focused on advanced solutions, Cloud AI applications, ensuring a unified approach to high-growth and digital native account

  • Serve as a key technical leader, leveraging deep understanding of AI to support sales and customer engagements.

As the Director, Advanced Solutions and Practice Lead, Google Cloud, you will be the leader responsible for bringing experience and thought leadership to help set mission and strategy for our AI products and offerings in Greater China. You will be a part of the APAC AI leadership team and you will work with strategic account teams and sales leadership to drive solution adoption by our customers in the Greater China Region, with a focus on export customers. You will combine the competencies of agreement support, partner enablement, strategy consulting, agreement structuring, and importantly client experience improvement. You will work with aligned sales resources and support cross-functional pursuit teams.

In addition, a key part of the responsibility will be to receive product feedback from customers and the field teams to internal stakeholders and engineering, and accelerate key features get blockers removed or key features accelerated for our customers.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Sales roles.

  • 15 years of experience as a pre-sales leader or quota-carrying solution architect within the cloud ecosystem.

  • 10 years of customer-facing experience, running engagements with clients (e.g., consulting, project management, sales, implementation, or technical sales).

  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern technology stacks that support business scaling, including experience with cloud, data, and AI technologies.
