Create test plans, coordinate resources, and communicate status updates to cross-functional teams and leadership.

Perform electrical, functional, performance, and reliability testing for server products. Analyze results and incorporate learnings to maintain and improve the qualification process.

Use scopes, protocol analyzers, bit error rate tests (BERTs), and other lab equipment to collect high precision data and validate high speed interfaces like PCIe Gen 5/6 and DDR5.

Collaborate with ODMs/JDMs to ensure that the validation is up to Google standards.

Report bugs and drive corrective action where needed with external suppliers and internal development teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

4 years of experience working in board level design and testing, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Experience with lab equipment like scopes, BERTs and analyzers.

Experience with servers and compute platform architecture.
