About the job

As a part of the Google Customer Solutions (GCS) business team, you will serve as a trusted advisor and promoter who maintains a focus on customer success. You will work within teams dedicated to growing the unique needs of advertising companies, collaborating with strategists, analysts, advisers and support specialists to spot and analyze customer needs and trends while creating and implementing business plans for all types of businesses.

As a part of the Agency team, you will empower the clients to achieve their marketing and advertising goals through agency partnerships. Your role will involve collaborating with agencies and advertisers, while also helping agencies enhance their capabilities to better serve their clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for bringing the partners on a journey by determining where the agency, customer, and Google strategies and GCS priorities align to enable agency and customer success. You will identify opportunities to cultivate agency growth, enabling team to reach their potential in supporting clients and achieving impact.Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals by driving scalable product adoption and growth across a broad portfolio of agency clients.

  • Manage a portfolio of agencies by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.

  • Engage across levels of agency partners to grow new and existing business consistently, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding business experiences to Google's agency partners.

  • Collaborate with agency counterparts on cross-channel agencies, aligning on product priorities with Google Customer Solutions (GCS) to provide a cohesive experience to agencies and their clients.

  • Shape the agency program by serving as a thought partner for the agency lead on initiatives and agency level planning.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

  • Experience in building executive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience in managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in managing end-to-end partnerships with promoting digital advertising solutions.

  • Experience with working in a changing and collaborative environment.

  • Knowledge of different cultures with the ability to work with global teams.

  • Excellent thought leadership with the ability to collaborate in executive functioning.

  • Excellent investigative skills to assess performance with the ability to develop insights to capture opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
