• Write product or system development code.

The Google Cloud Performance, Reliability, and Observability team develop unified debugging, profiling, and analytics tools for our customers, ranging from dashboards to debug individual request handling traces, to in-depth cross-component analysis of system behaviour. We explore options of using machine learning to automate anomaly detection in Google Cloud control plane systems.

• PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.

• 2 years of experience with software development with the use of SQL and advanced algorithms.

• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
