About the job

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.

To execute effectively, you will collaborate with Home Product, Engineering, Planning, Partner Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to ensure partner initiatives align with Cross-functional (XFN) OKRs.

You will focus on developing strategic partnerships with retailers and other ecosystem partners to scale our Gemini-powered Home vertical solutions and subscriptions. You will be working with product counterparts to provide input on product strategy and requirements that enable partnerships, and you will be collaborating across Google to ensure a coordinated approach when engaging with our strategic partners.

You will be adept at identifying partnership goals, with quantitative and investigative skills to structure and evaluate prospective agreements. You are a thought leader who can identify, structure, and analyze new partnership opportunities.
