Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in a partner-facing technical or operational management role.

Experience working with external partners to identify issues and find resolutions.

Experience experimenting with AI/ML tools (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering, or workflow automation) to solve operational problems.

Experience in TV, video on demand (VOD) delivery, digital live streaming video technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in client-facing, project management, involving the delivery of projects.
- Experience networking and building executive-level relationships across technology partners and more.
- Experience successfully aligning cross-functional (e.g., internal and external) teams across engaging priorities.
- Experience successfully discussing technical terms in partner agreements.
- Ability to function in highly dynamic environments.

As a Technical Partner Engagement Manager, you will be an operations leader with a passion for shaping the future of premium media and a knack for efficiency. You will utilize your video technology experience, industry expertise, and existing relationships to advance YouTube’s global strategy. You will collaborate with many cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to build and refine operational processes that deliver high quality TV and media experiences for our partners.
In this role, you will be highly organized, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and diligence in the planning and tracking the progress of key milestones, all while developing and maintaining relationships with our partners and stakeholders. You will be passionate about YouTube and next-generation media offerings. You will be a skilled problem solver and concise communicator who is comfortable with ambiguity and able to keep the team focused.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end technical partner engagements, from initial scoping and architecture alignment to implementation, testing, and commercial launch. Lead on-boarding and operational relationships with YouTube’s partners, their primary advocate across multiple internal teams, and supporting their long-term success through partner management.
- Act as the primary technical point-of-contact for key media and content partners, managing project milestones, tracking progress, and unblocking technical hurdles.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Business Development, and Legal teams to align partner capabilities with YouTube’s global product roadmap.
- Identify systemic technical issues or process bottlenecks in the partner onboarding pipeline, design scalable, repeatable solutions to improve efficiency.
- Synthesize partner feedback and technical requirements to influence internal YouTube product decisions and engineering priorities. Determine industry relationships to cultivate content and technology opportunities, provide regular partner intelligence updates to cross-functional teams.
