Write product or system development code.

Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).

Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Take ownership of tasks and projects from start to finish and deliver high-quality results, including design, implementation, testing and production readiness.

Collaborate with software engineers within and across the GCS organization to make GCS Metadata services be more performant, reliable, efficient, understandable, compliant, and delight users.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Experience in writing C++ code.
