In this role, you will inspire customers to transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers, and software infrastructure. You will help businesses use technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners. You will guide the account team with focus on developing relationships across the company and continuing the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

Responsibilities

Generate and qualify leads and business opportunities. Plan and implement the channel promotion program.

Assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud deployment, articulate key differentiators and typical customer buying journeys, and generally display a passion for computer science and Cloud.

Manage multiple opportunities through the entire business cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams as necessary, and serve as the primary customer contact for all business/adoption-related activities, including the development of strategic agreements.

Represent Google at trade shows and industry events.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
-
10 years of experience in technology business or business development at a Business-to-Business (B2B) software company.

Experience in developing cloud or Information Technology (IT) solutions.
-
Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, investigative tools, or applications software for the large enterprise customers.
- Experience in working on commercial and legal agreements with procurement, legal, and business teams.
- Experience managing partners in implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders in the language.
