Design and implement proof of concept fuel gauge solutions to enable next generation designs.

Work with other hardware engineers to analyze power tree architecture and component selection trade-offs. Work cross-functionally across the organization to drive holistic solutions.

Communicate with leading power vendors and track industry trends. Collaborate and influence these partners to obtain solutions/features for Pixel hardware.

Perform testing and correlation of proposed solutions against data provided by silicon vendors.

Characterize battery designs to predict aging under a variety of conditions.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

4 years of experience working in a consumer devices battery technical environment, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Experience with mobile phone architecture.

Experience designing Li-Ion batteries.
