Our New Business Development team works on game-changing ideas, from technological experiments to the expansion of existing businesses into new territories. We're a team of technologists, entrepreneurs and leaders with an eye for what's next, working across Google to develop products and ideas that revolutionize the way people connect with information.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the whole business cycle as an experienced sales professional for the new business acquisition from early stages to closing the customers and managing the relationship for another 6 months after closure to ensure the customer satisfaction, performance and promote opportunities.

  • Build a pipeline of new business by proactively identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in close partnership with our Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency and Marketing teams.

  • Acquire high value business agreements through outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, educating, pitching, closing, and relationship management.

  • Consult with clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals, utilising the full suite of Google’s marketing solutions such as YouTube, Google Search and Shopping, Google Display Network, App Promotion.

  • Design marketing strategies leveraging expert product knowledge to drive long -term success for customers.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in an advertising sales or business development role.

  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through tactical focus and execution.

  • Experience in planning, delivering and executing marketing campaigns, measurement and creative strategy.

  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and local market with insights into both digital and traditional media.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a working strategy.

  • Ability to grow in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to pitch advertising solutions for all clients.
