Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in management consulting, product management, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.
  • Experience in managing operational initiatives across functional domains or geographies.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, AI infrastructure (GPUs, TPUs), cloud, or enterprise/business-to-business (B2B) businesses.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams.
  • Ability to structure analysis, execute financial and data modeling, and use data to derive business insights.
  • Ability to deliver effective presentations and build partnerships with executive leaders and their teams across Google.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

The Emergent AI Infrastructure Organization is a part of AI2, responsible for delivering Compute Infrastructure to accelerate AI innovation. The team works on some of the most exciting, leading edge, and complex technologies in the world at planet scale.In this role you will work closely with the product management, engineering, and other cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, GTM, Finance, Corporate Development, Supply Chain, etc) to develop business-level and product strategies , drive ad-hoc projects, drive planning, and, perform in-depth pricing and costing analysis to answer important questions on product trends/business performance).

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $176000 - $257000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Drive market size engaged analysis, and vertical industry analysis to answer key business questions.

  • Develop commercial models, pricing/packaging strategies, business cases, and financial models/projections.Build agreements specific margin and Total Cost of Ownership economics.
    Work with product and go-to-market leaders to support agreements conversations.

  • Lead annual and quarterly end-to-end planning (e.g., objectives and key results, zero-based budgeting, headcount, operating expenses), translating AI2 priorities into actionable roadmaps while aligning cross-functional partners.

  • Create sales enablement artifacts. Drive RFI responses from customers and partners on emergent infrastructure.

  • Enable the product and engineering leadership to make sound long-term product strategy decisions to meet the needs of Google Cloud Platform.
