As a Strategic Partner Manager for Labels and Artists, you will be responsible for managing and growing partnerships with a portfolio of YouTube's most prominent US-Latin (LATAM) labels and artists. You will require navigating a landscape of varied demands from our label/distributors partners and artists.
You will be instrumental in shaping the future of music on YouTube by empowering our partners and ensuring their success on our platform. In this role, you will build partnerships with partners/artists to drive product activation, advance partners' goals, and further YouTube's mission to be the best place for every music fan and artist.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact for a dedicated partner list, developing and maintaining relationships with independent labels and artists.

Host regular meetings and business reviews to deliver best practices, communicate updates, and identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges.

Serve as a subject matter expert for your portfolio, advocating for partner interests internally and sharing key release information with cross-functional music teams.

Lead negotiations for content-licensing agreements, strategic distribution agreements, and record label authorizations.

Partner with internal teams to drive business and marketing processes, escalate strategic issues, and define growth opportunities. Ensure partners remain integrated into the ecosystem by inviting them to exclusive masterclasses and key industry events.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.

Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to interact in a professional working environment.

Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
