This is a full-stack software engineer position on our Search GenAI Feature infrastructure team in Chicago.

In this role, you'll gain exposure to projects that shape the backbone of our product. You'll be working on AI and UI infrastructure for Google Search, with the opportunity to directly impact the search experience worldwide! We are building next generation AI infrastructure for Search developers, revisiting the fundamentals of the Search stack including UI component registry, discovery, serving, rendering and prototype-to-prod frameworks for Search experiences.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience with software development in Java, Python or C++.

• Experience with Kotlin.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.

• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

• Experience with machine learning or prompt engineering.
