About the job

As a member of the Google Cloud Communications team, you will collaborate with other cross-functional teams to communicate with journalists and thought leaders, develop specific communications materials and devise thought leadership campaigns. You'll understand the power of Google’s Cloud products and tell the story of how we help our customers innovate. You'll engage in face-to-face meetings with internal executives and external opinion formers, and develop print and web-based materials supporting these campaigns.

Google’s AI infrastructure is the foundation that enables Gemini-powered breakthroughs across Google’s most iconic products and for our Cloud customers. We don't just power AI; we accelerate the delivery of helpful, planetary-scale experiences that are only possible because of the unique way our infrastructure has been developed.

In this role, you will be part of the team shaping the communications strategy for our AI infrastructure portfolio. You will be responsible for managing customer and partner relationships, maintaining connections with journalists and influencers, and developing written materials and campaigns. Additionally, you will create new programs to counter misinformation that interferes with our business and our ability to serve users. A major part of the role involves collaborating with executives across the organization, leveraging an understanding of the technologies and policies impacting the industry today

We help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders--and our own employees--about the benefits of Google's products, our distinctive company culture/values and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day. You are quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. To succeed in this role, you are willing to try new things and can manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at Google, and to do great work, you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally with partners across PR, Communications, Marketing, Product, and beyond.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.
