Calibration Engineer, Quantum AI

Advance our capabilities by translating novel, state-of-the-art calibration techniques into scalable production software.

Provide stress-testing and hardening for our calibration software to guarantee it meets the strict uptime and reliability demands of externally facing systems.

Engage with hardware to calibrate and characterize state-of-the-art superconducting qubit devices.
-
Build advanced system validation tools to rapidly identify, isolate, and resolve failures across the entire quantum computing stack.

Architect and develop the automation tools required to initialize, deploy, and maintain the performance of our flagship quantum hardware to external users.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience
-
2 years of industry or academic research experience in an engineering or physics field
-
1 year of experience calibrating and operating quantum systems
-
1 year of programming experience
