  • Guide large-scale, multi-project delivery by setting clear Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), managing resource allocation, and maintaining strict network standards.

  • Serve as a primary escalation point and advocate, removing organizational roadblocks to optimize cycle times and ensure on-time delivery.

  • Foster strategic partnerships across teams to lead organizational transformation and streamline collaborative requirements.

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

The Network Delivery Implementation team builds and operates the future of Google's global network, connecting billions of users to our expanding services and enabling the world's imagination with dependable, universal connectivity. We own the full network lifecycle in our data centers and metro points of presence, guiding continuous reliability, efficiency, and service activation to meet the ever-growing demands of a connected world, with the goal to make connectivity ubiquitous between every machine and every user on the Internet.

In this role, you will directly impact Google's ability to deliver network capacity to its customers. You will offer a unique opportunity to influence the future of network delivery through process innovation, automation and driving AI transformation across the team. Teamwork, collaboration, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to challenging the status quo are essential for success in this role.

Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in program management, program operations, and program design.

  • 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
