Organizing the world's information and making it universally accessible.
Product Manager I, YouTube Ads Responsibility
About the job
At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
The YouTube Ads Responsibility team's mission is to deliver trust with viewers and advertisers, and improve creators business generation, all while growing new and existing YouTube businesses.
In this role, you will define the goal and strategy for how advertisers navigate YouTube's library. You will collaborate across functions spanning product, engineering, business, UX, trust and safety, legal, and more. You will launch changes to a product used by billions of users that will enable measurable and visible growth to advertisers, creators, and the business top and bottom line. Example projects include re- envisioning the creator business generation experience, expanding advertiser placement reporting to new surfaces like feeds and livestream, and reducing the impact of mistakes on both creators and advertisers. Users come first at Google. Nowhere is this more important than on our Advertising and Commerce team: we believe that ads and commercial information can be highly useful to our users if that information is relevant to what our users wish to find or do. Advertisers worldwide use Google Ads to promote their products; publishers use Ad Sense to serve relevant ads on their website; and business around the world use our products (like Google Shopping, and Google Wallet) to support their online businesses and bring users into their offline stores. We are constantly innovating to deliver the most effective advertising and commerce opportunities of tomorrow.
