Our mission is to deliver a scalable and performant storage solution for Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Connected, enabling customers to run their most demanding stateful applications, including AI and Gemini workloads, at the edge. We build solutions for Google's industry-leading containerized environment, powered by Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), addressing the complexities of the evolving world of distributed systems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.

• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

• Experience in back-end software development.

• Experience coding in one of the following: Golang, C++, Java, or Python.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

• Experience working with storage, data protection, or disaster recovery.

• Experience with cloud platforms.

• Experience with Kubernetes.
