The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Define an open standard genUI protocol

• A2UI - and evolve it with new genAI capabilities of new models.

• Build and maintain Google's open-source genUI SDK that provides a toolkit for developers to supercharge their apps with genUI.

• Optimize the genUI pipeline for latency, accuracy, and low error rates.

• Build a full-stack genUI solution spanning client and server.

• Build a first-party genUI solution for internal Google teams to add genUI capabilities to their apps.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.

• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.

• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Experience with debugging/troubleshooting.

Preferred qualifications

• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
