NPI Operations Program Manager, Machine Learning

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities
-
Lead large, complex, cross-functional program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp, or product transitions.

Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters. Ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals.

Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost/assembly/test/BOM/capacity readiness and transition plans).

Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Operations, or another relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in program or project management.

Experience in Supply Chain, New Product Introduction (NPI) in Hardware Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing or Electronic/Mechanical Assembly.
Preferred qualifications
-
Master's degree or equivalent practical experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Operations or other relevant field.

2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
-
Experience with Machine Learning (ML), and GPU manufacturing.
