In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
As a Product Manager, you will define strategy and build the core app experience for Google Pay in India. You will lead the core app experience for Google Pay India. You will understand the users across India - all with different needs and attitudes towards money. You will work with the engineering and cross-functional team to bring ideas to life.
Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.
Responsibilities

Define the product goal, roadmap and success metrics for the team and use that to inform product strategy and day-to-day decisions.

Provide cross-functional leadership to a team of analysts, operations, legal, policy, public relations, privacy and work with external partners like banks, merchants,etc.

Be scrappy and resourceful in rallying troops behind a common goal building strong relationships across the board.

Have the aptitude to work on large scale consumer product teams and leverage AI to deliver industry leading user experience.

Be articulate and confident in communication.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in product management.
Preferred qualifications
-
Experience in building large scale consumer facing apps.

Ability to think long term and build multi-year roadmaps.

Ability to grow in ambiguous, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
