Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

4 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Preferred qualifications:
-
Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.

7 years of experience in brand marketing, product marketing, or a related field.

Experience in data analysis and translating complex data sets into actionable marketing insights, with proficiency in storytelling and a track record of managing end-to-end GTM strategies.

Experience working within the Indian market, with understanding of its cultural, social, and regulatory dynamics.

Deep understanding of the current AI landscape and experience leveraging generative AI tools to improve marketing productivity and creative processes.

Proven ability to translate complex technical and AI concepts into compelling, simplified consumer narratives that drive brand affinity.
About the job
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, Ad Sense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As a Product Marketing Manager (L4) for Brand and Reputation in India, you will be a key driver in shaping how Google’s brand and impact are perceived in India. You are expected to make broad contributions to our marketing ecosystem with minimal oversight, taking ownership of complex projects from ideation to execution.
In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams across Partnerships, Comms, Policy, and regional marketing, contributing to the marketing strategy and execution, with a specific focus on our reputation-building narratives and initiatives. You will be responsible for navigating a rapidly evolving landscape, particularly regarding Artificial Intelligence, and translating our technical leadership into human-centric stories that resonate with audiences.
Responsibilities

Lead the strategic adoption of AI tools into Brand and Reputation marketing workflows to enhance creative output, team productivity, and operational efficiency across all initiatives and campaigns.

Develop partner-led storytelling that highlights Google’s impact in key AI "whitespace" areas and emerging sectors of relevance to key opinion formers to drive the AI Brand and Reputation strategy in India.

Develop and track medium-to large-scale brand campaigns that elevate Google’s reputation as a bold, responsible AI and tech leader by establishing clear KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness.

Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of reputation-building initiatives and autonomously optimize reputation initiatives in real-time.
Act as a trusted partner and consultant to cross-functional stakeholders in PR, Policy, Product, and Legal to ensure a unified voice on high-stakes issues.
