As a Staff Content Designer, you will shape users’ emerging mental models and adoption of our products. In this role, you will lead the content design strategy across the portfolio of XR devices and experiences, including immersive headsets and glasses with and without displays.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

Lead content design and UX writing across the XR portfolio, an emerging and fast-developing space with new paradigms of user interaction.

Develop content design strategy for the full spectrum of XR devices and experiences (from immersive headsets to everyday wear Glasses). Develop a deep understanding of user needs, product behaviors and constraints.

Partner across UX, UX Design, Visual Design, UX Experience, UX Research, Product Management, and Engineering to implement content design, delivering polished, high quality UX writing across the ecosystem.

Partner cross-product area to on content design for first-party app experiences to bring a consistent approach across the ecosystem.

Elevate content design and UX writing craft in our organization. Develop and manage content design and UX Writing process and workflows. Support development of narrative for key XR public moments and launches.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, writing, editorial, or related, as well as leading content strategy projects.

Preferred qualifications

Experience developing content design strategy and UX writing guidelines for new or complex product spaces.

Experience partnering closely with cross-functional teams.

Experience with XR/AR/VR.
